I Spy...
......a sweet little bunny in a garden of ivy!
The winter weather has been everything one imagines winter weather to be: snow upon snow and blustering cold. I hear a lot of wishes for warmth now. But I am honestly rather enjoying it. I feel this mixture of savoring winter and anticipating spring (which is such a long time away). I guess I prefer a white weathery winter to a brown mucky one and don't want to spend my time pining for the future...it comes and goes too furiously fast. Of course, I am indulging in some spring fever stuff...like replanting my pots (oops, I mean repotting my plants) and pulling out flowery china to use. I also still have a small Christmas tree lit up in the livingroom...what can I say...I just want a little bit of everything! I have definitely been couped up in my house a little too much this week due to the below zero temps (I hate to take Cedric out in them if I don't have to), but I'm trying to keep myself motivated with baking, laundry, reading, letter writing, etc. And obviously, I can't resist my sweet little pumpkin when he calls for attention!
This bittersweet life has my head spinning. I'm loving it, I'm struggling through it, I'm failing, I'm finding victory. It's fascinating and dull at the same time. I do wish I was a glorious author right now...because I feel like I'd like to say so much about life and about my dear Savior who is refining this princess-and-the-pauper heart of mine.
