Lavender and Laughter

Life is too short to drink tea out of a plastic cup....I created this blog to pour the lavender and laughter of my life into yours.

I am complicated and I am a Marshwiggle (like Puddleglum from Lewis' The Silver Chair). Personality tests don't work on me. I yearn to see Jesus face to face, and to see the love in His eyes. I am learning to walk on water and to be a new person in Christ. I am in love with my husband and baby, and I love the smell of coffee and lavender mixed together.

Thanksgiving Cont...

Grandma cooked while I played house (in other words--i did the fun job of decorating it for Christmas). Here's the fruit of our labor!

Just a question...you commented on my blog about not fitting in any mans' life...did something happen with Shawn?

You know I was thinking about our lives and how different they are..but we have had 2 things in commen...Our love for Christ...his forgiveness in our lives. And the way we both know what it is like to suffer...to suffer in a way that one can't describe to anyone.

We may have suffered different things..and true there are certain situations and circumstances that neither of us will be able to understand about the other...However, we know what it is like to cry...to not want to move forward.

I'm glad that i know someone who can relate to that feeling of despair...but who can also relate to the feeling of hope, comfort, mercy, grace, and LOVE.

i love ya

yeah, i broke up with him a few weeks ago. it just wasn't working for me--wasn't right for who i am i guess. that's okay, we're still friends. it just was another reminder of how unusual i am--my gifts, desires, passions, interests, views on life, etc (and how it doesn't fit in well with my culture or my friends). but you are right--we share the one thing that is most important, which is why i believe we can love eachother (i.e. have friendships with people totally different from us).
