Lavender and Laughter

Life is too short to drink tea out of a plastic cup....I created this blog to pour the lavender and laughter of my life into yours.

Name:
Location: Iowa, United States

I am complicated and I am a Marshwiggle (like Puddleglum from Lewis' The Silver Chair). Personality tests don't work on me. I yearn to see Jesus face to face, and to see the love in His eyes. I am learning to walk on water and to be a new person in Christ. I am in love with my husband and baby, and I love the smell of coffee and lavender mixed together.

What should I name it?

I'm considering calling it "The Dead Sea"
because it is so covered in salt. (ha ha)

How about let's name it a honda civic. I swear that naming your car is the dumbest thing ever, and people who name their cars should be exiled to Siberia.

(I can get away with being grouchy because all my term papers / projects / exams are due within the next four days.)

That is a really nice car!

Josh, no you can't get away with being grouchy because you are stressed...i"m sorry but you can't. However, i'll give you some grace..lol! And you'll probably someday change your opionion about nameing your car when you get a car that you looovve.

Elizabeth, call it "Old, faithful"

You need to live with a car for awhile before you can name it. If a car has character, a name will suggest itself.

Girl I love your car. Honda's are the best and I am so thrilled that you got such a nice one. This one should last you for quite some time. Christmas is on the way. Love you girl and hope you have a good one!!!!!!!!

sara---i will never name a car anything that has the slightest meaning toward faithfulness. cars are not faithful. period. it's a good thing we don't have to marry cars.

josh...the naming the car thing was a joke (the dead sea--salty--get it?). i don't name cars.

Sara - Nope I'll never change my mind. I know, because I loved my first car a lot, and felt very happy taking pride in it being called a "Corsica". And as a compromise, we'll only send one out of every ten car-namers into exile; that should take care of the problem.

All right Josh, as long as i get to be one of the 9 car namers not in exile..i think we can still be friends
